Peter is a 9-year-old boy and the oldest of three siblings. His mother died from a long battle with a terminal illness, and shortly thereafter, his father committed suicide. Peter’s grandmother took-on the responsibility of caring for Peter and his siblings. Due to her own illness and the arduous task of raising four children and four grandchildren, Peter’s grandmother placed him with JFM for the hope of a better future. Peter is attending a local school.
