Deborah is an 11-year-old girl in 3rd grade, she wants to be a teacher. She is the second child in a family of seven. Deborah
sought refuge with Jeremiah's Children after her father tried to force her into being a nanny and early marriage. She has the
passion for learning, even after being turned away from one of the primary schools in
town. Deborah and her older sister boldly appealed to a local primary school for admission.
Through the help of a good Samaritan and the sisters' bold courage to approach the school on their
own, the girls were welcomed into the school, where Deborah is now getting an education.
