Jackson is a 10-year-old boy who wants to be a government official when he grows up. Born with a disability, Jackson dreams of helping children like himself acquire the basic needs for survival in Kenya and stamp out the stigma associated with disabilities. He is the fifth born child in a family of six due to his disability, Jackson was abandoned by his father. Jackson’s mother sells vegetables to support her family but struggles to make ends meet, particularly, the demanding costs of medical assistance for Jackson. Placed with JFM by his grandmother, Jackson now attends school and medical needs are being met.
