Mama Joyce, a widow since 2000, has been a beacon of love and kindness throughout her life. A devoted mother to six children and grandmother to twelve grandchildren, as well as to the children of Jeremiah's Children, her warmth and compassion are evident in her smile and her eyes.
In 2010, tragedy struck when Jerry, her youngest child, was killed in a hit-and-run accident on a pedestrian path in Nairobi, Kenya. To help mend the void in Mama Joyce’s heart, God soon brought the very children she would care for into her life.
With her boundless kindness and compassion, Mama Joyce began providing regular meals for these children, despite having no steady income. As word spread, more and more hungry and needy children began to seek her help. Her efforts blossomed into a meaningful ministry that now supports many children in need, offering them housing, education, spiritual guidance, and community support, giving them hope for a brighter future.
